Compiled In Diagnostics
Purpose
The compiled in diagnostics devices allow the system to perform continuous diagnostic testing on itself as it is running. This is an alternative to the System Diagnostics tests that require all audio processing to stop while the tests are performed. Insert the device that matches the number of boards in the system. Note that inserting the device uses signal processing cycles so more boards may be required in a system with compiled in diagnostics.
Controls
Test Enable
When pressed, allows diagnostics to run.
Failure Detected
Indicates the diagnostics has detected a failure.
DAB Cable Failure
Indicates the diagnostics has detected a failure in the Digital Audio Bus, possibly due to an improperly seated cable.
Board Failed
Indicates the diagnostics has detected a failure of a particular DSP Board on the system. Run the System Diagnostics immediately to gather more detailed information about the failure.
