Title Block
The Title Bock is a compound device, that allows you to quickly and easily store information about your system in the view file. It is comprised of several text strings, and a child block for storing the schematic. By using the title block, much like you would with a CAD drawing, all of the pertinent information about the creation of this view file can be stored. The title block device is invoked by either dragging the device form the tab window tree view into your drawing, or by selecting "Device | New | Title Block" from the device menu.
The title block includes the following fields for your use
Title |
In this field enter the View File Title |
Author |
The creator of this view file |
Date |

Rev. (Revision number) |
In many cases, multiple iterations of a system design are required. Use this field to add rev numbers to each iteration, and resave under a new file name |
Schematic (Block) |
Use this child window to save your system schematic in (see Place the system schematic diagram into a block for information on why and how to do this) |
Notes |
Two text fields are included here for important info about this view file. Be succinct here. If you need more text space use 'More' |
More |
This is a multi-line text field that allows you to continue with more notes. When entering text, be aware that the text line does not automatically wrap. Use "Control | Enter" simultaneously to add a carriage return to start a new line |
