Frequency Response

Purpose

The Frequency Response device measures and displays the frequency response of a user specified signal path. The user specifies the signal path by 'clipping' probe tips A and B onto wires in the system schematic. If the tips are moved to new wires while view file is compiled, the Response Display will update appropriately without a recompile. The properties of the Frequency Response can be edited using its property page.

Controls

Response Display

Graphically displays the amplitude and phase response of the signal path.

Probe Tips A and B

Used to specify the desired signal path to use in the response calculation.

System Induced Delay

Group Delay which is factored out of the response.
