IO Probe

Purpose

The I/O Probe allows you to monitor the signal on any input or output of the system.

Controls and Indicators

Input & Output selectors

You must first decide if you wish to monitor an input or an output. To select, press the square button underneath the word Input or Output. Next you must choose the specific input or output to monitor. This may be done in two ways. First you may use the up and down arrow buttons to pick the input or output. Second you may gesture the numeric display to select the input or output.

Level

Controls the output level

Mute

Mutes the output.

Valid

Indicates that the selected input or output is valid. If you set the input or output to a number that either does not exist in your system, or is not wired to any internal circuitry, the Valid indicator will go out.

If you need to monitor signals other than inputs or outputs, you can use the Signal Probe instead.
