Signal Probe
Purpose
The Signal Probe will allow you to monitor the audio at any point in the system. The monitor point is specified by “clipping” the Tip onto an audio wire in the system schematic.
Tip: While in Control mode, click on the Probe Tip to pick it up. Do not click and drag, but just click once on the Tip to pick it up. As you move the Tip across wires in the schematic they will highlight in red. When the wire that you wish to connect to is red, then click again to connect the Tip to this point. To move the Tip to a different point, click on it to pick it up, move to the new location, and when the wire turns red, click again to connect the Tip. To disconnect the Tip click on it, and then move it back to its holder, and click again. If you do not put it back in its holder, or connect to a new point, then when you click the second time the Tip will go back to where it was last connected.
To monitor just MediaMatrix inputs and outputs, you may also use the I/O Probe.
