CABs ( CobraNet Audio Bridge )
CAB-8i Input Device.
The CAB-8i is a single rack space, eight channel, CobraNet input BoB, that INCLUDES eight microphone preamplifiers with remote gain controls (switchable for mic or line level inputs), remote phantom power switches (+48 volt), and remote mic/line switches. It also provides eight separate remote controlled relays. Front panel features include eight five segment LED meters for audio level, four rotary switches for setting Network Bundles, and nine LED status indicators. The rear panel provides eight balanced audio inputs, eight relay ports (with common, normally closed, and normally open contacts), eight TTL outputs (0 to 5V), eight control voltage inputs (0 to 10 volts), coax link in/out jacks, a CobraNet 485 connector, a power switch, and power jack (IEC). To control a physical CAB-8i, place the CAB 8i Device in your view file.
CAB-8o Output Device.
The CAB-8o is a single rack space, eight channel, CobraNet output BoB, with line level outputs. It also provides eight separate remote controlled relays, and remote controlled mute switches on each output. Front panel features include eight five segment LED meters for audio level, four rotary switches for setting Network Bundles, and nine LED status indicators. The rear panel provides eight balanced audio outputs, eight relay ports (with common, normally closed, and normally open contacts), eight TTL outputs (0 to 5V), eight control voltage inputs (0 to 10 volts), coax link in/out jacks, a CobraNet 485 connector, a power switch, and power jack (IEC). To control a physical CAB-8o, place the CAB 8o Device in your view file.
CAB-16i Input Device.
The CAB-16i is a single rack space, sixteen channel, CobraNet line-level input BoB with remote gain controls and mutes (on each output). Front panel features include sixteen five segment LED meters for audio level, four rotary switches for setting Network Bundles, and nine LED status indicators. The rear panel provides eight balanced audio inputs, coax link in/out jacks, a CobraNet 485 connector, a power switch, and power jack (IEC). To control a physical CAB-16i, place the CAB 16i Device in your view file.
CAB-16o Output Device.
The CAB-16o is a single rack space, sixteen channel, CobraNet line-level output BoB with remote gain controls and mutes (on each output). Front panel features include sixteen five segment LED meters for audio level, four rotary switches for setting Network Bundles, and nine LED status indicators. The rear panel provides eight balanced audio inputs, coax link in/out jacks, a CobraNet 485 connector, a power switch, and power jack (IEC). To control a physical CAB-16o, place the CAB 16o Device in your view file.
CAB-16d Input Device.
The CAB-16d is a single rack space, sixteen input/sixteen output channel, CobraNet AES3 (or S/PDIF with additional resistors) BoB. Since one pair of audio channels travels over a pair of AES cable, there are 8 AES input connections and 8 AES output connections (for 16x16 channels of actual audio I/O). Front panel features include sixteen five segment LED meters for audio level (switchable to show input levels or output levels), four rotary switches for setting Network Bundles, and nine LED status indicators. The rear panel provides eight balanced audio inputs, coax link in/out jacks, a CobraNet 485 connector, a power switch, and power jack (IEC).
