CobraNet Interface

MM-DSP-CN CobraNet Interface Card.

This is the version of the MM-DSP card that allows you to transmit and receive digital audio over the CobraNet standard. It allow you to feed 32 input signals and 32 output signals into each DSP board. Up to eight DSP boards equipped with CobraNet daughter cards can be used in the MM-980NT Mainframe. You can combine CobraNet equipped DSP cards with normal DSP cards, provided that at least one CobraNet equipped card is installed in the first slot in the frame. Typically, this card would hook up to an Ethernet switch via CAT-5 cable, and then to as many CobraNet devices as the cable or switch or network will support (typically 64 channels). The sample rate for this card is fixed at 48 kHz, however, it will auto detect and switch for 8, 16, 20, or 24 bit data. It can transmit on up to four network "bundles", and receive on up to four network "bundles".
