Paint Mode

Paint Mode may be entered from the Mode Menu, the Pop-up Menu or Ctrl-P Keyboard Accelerator.

In Paint Mode, the cursor is paint brush and the palette window appears.  Any object you click on in Paint Mode will be painted with the color currently selected in the Palette Window.  Objects may also be selected and painted en masse with a single click on any one of the Selected Objects.

The background color of a View Window or Child Window may be changed to the current Palette Window color by double clicking in an empty area of the window. The default background color for new windows may be set in the User Interface Options Dialog.
