Creating custom control panels

You are not limited to viewing controls of devices only in the manner that they are presented to you in the control surface windows.  You can rearrange the controls and indicators in the standard control surface windows by dragging devices around and placing them where you want them.  You can change the control types by using the object editor, you can change the colors of controls and backgrounds by using the paint mode and you can actually create your own new windows of controls.  When you create your own control surface window you are not limited to the controls of one device only.  You can include controls and indicators from as many devices as you like.  In this way, you can create control surface windows for specific tasks or systems.  You may find that when you adjust a balcony or concourse system you use certain faders from the mixer, certain delay adjustments and certain equalizers.  You may also want to have specific metering available while making these adjustments.  You are able to create as many unique viewpoints of the system as you want.  Any control or indicator can be simultaneously available in as many of these windows as you like.
