Moving Objects

Objects may only be moved in Edit Mode.

To move a single object, click on the object with the left mouse button and, while holding the button down, move the mouse.  To move multiple objects, first Select the objects you wish to move, click on one of the Selected Objects and, while holding the mouse button down, move the mouse.

As you move the mouse, a rectangular outline of the objects will move with the mouse pointer.  The actual image of the objects and their connected wires will follow the outline after a short delay, depending on the speed of your computer, the complexity of the system you are working on and the number of objects you are moving.  When you release the mouse button, the outline will disappear and the objects will be redrawn in their new positions.

If you press and hold the shift key or the right mouse button while moving objects, the objects will be restricted to move only horizontally or vertically from their original positions.

Objects may also be moved by using the Packing and Alignment commands.
