Object Properties
Every Object contained in a MediaMatrix View File is described by a set of Object Properties. These properties define how the object looks and acts in the view file. Depending on the object, some set of the following properties will be editable via the Object Properties Dialog.
The Object Properties Dialog allows the user to edit properties of the Selected Object or objects. The Object Properties Dialog is accessible from the Tools Menu, the Pop-up Menu or by using the Alt-Enter Keyboard Accelerator.
When the Object Properties Dialog is invoked for a single Selected Object, the fields of the dialog will be filled to show the current properties of the object which may then be modified. Only the Tabs applicable to the Selected Object appear in the Object Properties Dialog.
When the Object Properties Dialog is invoked with multiple objects selected, each property in the Property Dialog is either filled with the current value ( if all of the selected objects of that type share the same property value ), or the dialog comes up with tildes (~) in all text fields, check boxes are in a grayed state, drop-downs and radio button sets have no item selected or no button activated ( if the property differs between selected objects ). Changing any control in such a dialog will change the associated property to the new value for all the Selected Objects.
When the Object Properties Dialog is invoked with multiple objects of differing types selected, you will get a series of Object Properties Dialogs, each representing the Selected Objects of a specific type.
