Wiring One Node to the Next Available Node

To connect a wire to the first available node on a device simply drag the wire over the device itself rather than the over a node.  MediaMatrix will automatically select the next available node.  If the device has no wires presently connected to its inputs (if you are connecting to inputs) or outputs (if you are connecting to outputs) it will connect to node number one.  If for example, you are connecting to a devices inputs and inputs one through five are already in use it will connect to input six.  Outputs can connect to multiple inputs.  Therefore if you drag a wire over a device to connect to an output it will always connect to output number one unless you specifically select a node.
