The Tree View window contains a hierarchical display of files on the system.

Adding a Device from the Tree View

To place a device into a view file, left-click and drag a device into the view file in the workspace.  The device will be placed as the point the mouse button was released.  Dragging a directory into the workspace results in the display of a pop-up menu of all items contained in the directory.  When a device is selected from this menu, it is placed in the view file at the point that drag was originally completed.

Opening a View File from the Tree View

To open a view file into the workspace, either drag the view file into the workspace, or double click on the view file in the Tree View window.

Right Clicking in the Tree View

Right clicking on an item in the Tree View displays a pop-up menu for the item.
 

Resizing the Tree View

The Tree View can be resized by dragging the frame between the Tree View and the workspace.

Toggling the Tree View

Also, the Tree View can be toggled by choosing Tools - Show TreeView (Control-Y) in the menu system.
