  • This is to ease the finishing of a project that has already begun. You will find the resources readily available for Turnover CDs, bringing new computers on-line, or if you just want to use the older version.

Example Projects
  • Here we will add NPA project files to showcase interesting features.
  • The latest version is usually necessary to compile and deploy the files
Control Modifier (0.037Mb) In this project, the Control Modifier device from MWare is recreated in both a Python version and a version using only Control Operator devices. The project serves two purposes. Obviously, you can use the Control Modifier device in your own project. Either one works identically, except the Control Operator version requires no external script. Hopefully it is also a useful Python/Logic example too. 03/22/2006
MediaMatrix Telephone Hybrid (0.110Mb) This example shows a way of using Python's serial module to control the functionality of the MediaMatrix Telephone Hybrid. You can use this as an example for adaptation to any other serial controlled product. 12/09/2005

Control Manager
  • ControlManager is a powerful server application that makes managing just one or dozens of NIONs easy.
  • ControlManager is configured and controlled with NWare.
  • Allows control of SNMP-enabled devices such as network switches, projectors, etc.
ConMan 1.2.5 (7.387Mb)

ConMan is the software component of ControlManager. The PC that runs this server software is called a ControlNode. ConMan will run for 60 days in evaluation mode. Once a license is purchased and applied, the software will not remind you to register. Registering also enables ConMan to operate as a Windows Service.

Notes:

  • To use this version of ConMan, you must deploy from the matching version of NWare.
  • This version will upgrade installations of ConMan 1.0.2 and 1.1.3 without uninstalling.
  • The installer will stop the ConMan service (NION ControlNode Service) before upgrading. You must restart the ConMan service, after performing the upgrade. This is only applicable to licensed installations.
  • A new license key may be necessary. If you get an invalid license message, run the Delete ConMan License utility and send the deletion code to conmanreg@peavey.com. We'll send a new license code to activate ConMan 1.2.5.
