CAB 8i Audio Input Bridge
CobraNet is an industry-standard networking technology
that provides reliable transport of uncompressed digital audio
using standard Ethernet hardware and media. Integrated into
MediaMatrix, CobraNet allows the designer to create large infrastructures
that can transport thousands of channels of digital audio on
an Ethernet network. Mware´s simple drag and drop interface
makes it easy to source and deliver audio from from any network
location for multiple combinations of remote or local locations.
With CobraNet, the hassle of designing complex "pipe & wire"
risers in large enterprises is eliminated. Existing network
cable plants can be used in many cases, saving the end user,
contractor and designer time and cost. And because the connectivity
is digital, normal audio wiring problems are eliminated.
