MessageNet™ Software

Message Scheduler
MessageNet facilitates the compilation and control of scheduled events. Such events comprise single items or lists of items scheduled to occur on particular days, at particular times, or to be repeated on certain days and times. Recorded messages, background music events, and other assignable inputs may be scheduled with the following parameters:
  • Starting time and date
  • Finish time and date
  • Repetition rate in minutes (e.g. play every five minutes)
  • Particular month for playback
  • Priority of events
Each scheduled message event may be named with a descriptive title indicating its function or purpose. The Duplicate button may be used to create a new event as an exact copy of the current event.

System Alarms Page
The alarms page provides the operator with a system status report and signals an alarm in the event of failure in any part of the system. System status is divided into a number of categories. Each category is represented by a tab on the alarms page. Clicking on a particular tab reveals status relevant to the corresponding category.

The global alarms tab lists all current system alarms across all categories. Each time a fault is detected, the system will sound an audible alarm, cause an indicator to flash and an isolated contact output at the rear of the system control computer will close. The system will remain in this state until the alarm is acknowledged (by pressing the Acknowledge button on the alarm page).
